New Perfume Reb'l Fleur by Rihanna

Rihanna's first scent Reb'l Fleur will soon hit stores in Febuary 2011. The scent itself is a fruity chypre with notes of, violet, hibiscus, and coconut water -- a nod to Rihanna's childhood in Barbados. The fragrance is being released by Parlux, the same company behind scents by Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson, and Queen Latifah.

Here is some helpful information and tip for you, a corner stone of perfume knowledge.

Perfume Groups

Fragrances is divided into 5 Groups. And by knowing the Groups of this fragrances, you will be able to know what kind of fragrance you're buying. Anyway these are the 5 Groups of Fragrance.

Perfume - has the most essential oil. It has 22 - 25% [Extracts up to 40%] of essential oils.
Which means the scent is super super strong, the more essential oil, longer it will last and costly it could be.

Eau de Parfum [EDP] - This contains 15 - 22% of essential oils.
This is the commonly distributed group that are out in the market by which also last for a very long time.

Eau de Toilette [EDT] - This contains 8 - 15% of essential oils.
This is just a diluted scent. This is for people who doesn't prefer strong scent.
EDT are usually light, and fresh scent.

Eau de Cologne - Contains 4% of essential oils.

Eau de Fraiche [splash] - Contains 1 - 4% of essential oils.  Mostly used after shave, Barely nothing for women.
